I love taking portraits of people I know extremely well and not at all. Either way, I truly enjoy spending time with the individual and photographing them in the most natural light.
Shot with my minolta-16 film camera from 1973. I immediately felt a connection to the photos that were very stark yet also had this iridescent glow that made me think that something terrible was going to happen, like the end of the world.

I started taking photos of people around DC a few years ago and fell in love with photography from there. I just started observing people and attempted to capture them in what I considered to be timeless moments.
The macro lens is an AMAZING asset. It gives me the ability to manipulate shapes, colors, textures and lighting in ways that I didnŐt know were possible.
Architecture is a challenging type of photography I am still trying to fully grasp.
